Zelensky, BlackRock investment company head discuss possible investment in Ukraine

MOSCOW. Sept 19 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has had a conversation with BlackRock investment company head Larry Fink, the Ukrainian media said on Monday.

Zelensky said on Telegram that the conversation explored the possibility of private and public investment in Ukraine.

According to the presidential press service, Zelensky and Fink discussed how the BlackRock Financial Markets Advisory could give free advice to the Ukrainian government regarding the establishment of a recovery fund to support the Ukrainian economy.

"For instance, consultations could be provided in regard to the Fund structure, the investment process, the management and the spending of Fund money. The Fund will create opportunities for the participation of public and private investors in the recovery and revitalization of the Ukrainian economy, while providing their fair and honest revenue," the press service said.
