Ukrainian Energy Ministry, World Bank discuss raising investments for Ukraine's energy sector

MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Representatives of the Ukrainian Energy Ministry and the World Bank discussed ways to invite investments into Ukraine's energy sector at a meeting in Vienna, Ukrainian media said, citing the ministry's press service.

The participants in the meeting discussed cooperation in rebuilding Ukraine's energy infrastructure and ways to raise foreign investments for relevant projects.

"The parties agreed on specific areas of support for Ukraine, in particular, the purchase of energy resources in order to allow Ukraine to stably get through the fall-winter period," the ministry said.
