UAC, Aeroflot deal for 339 aircraft by 2030 worth over 1 trillion rubles - Manturov

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 7 (Interfax) - The deal between United Aircraft Corporation and Aeroflot to supply 339 aircraft is worth more than 1 trillion rubles, Deputy Prime Minister, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told reporters on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.

"The contract for more than 300 aircraft of various types... The contract is more than a trillion rubles. Never before has there been such a contract," he said.

The contract, signed during the Eastern Economic Forum, states that Aeroflot will receive 210 MC-21, 89 import-free SSJ NEW and 40 Tu-214 aircraft in 2023-2030.

The first two SSJ-NEW should be delivered in 2023, followed by six MC-21 and seven Tuu-214 in 2024. The first firm orders for planes in 2023-2025 should be placed by the end of this year, Rostec and Aeroflot said in a joint press release, quoting UAC chief Yury Slyusar.
