Musician Makarevich, journalists Hordon, Gordeyeva placed on register of individual foreign agents - Russian Justice Ministry's website

MOSCOW. Sept 2 (Interfax) - The Russian Justice Ministry has added six people to its register of individual foreign agents, including the musician Andrei Makarevich, Ukrainian journalist Dmytro Hordon and his Russian colleague Katerina Gordeyeva, and Ivan Zhdanov, an ally of Alexei Navalny.

The updates appeared on the ministry's website on Friday evening.

According to the ministry, these individuals engage in political activities funded from Ukraine.

The other two new entrants are Fyodor Krasheninnikov, a political analyst, and Boris Zimin, son of Beeline founder Dmitry Zimin.

The ministry also has updated its register foreign-agent mass media by adding artist Mikhail Shats, former Moscow municipal deputy Yulia Galyamina, Novaya Gazeta editor Kirill Martynov, journalists Sergei Loiko and Kirill Fyodorov, political scientist and commentator Sergei Medvedev, and Novosti (News), a limited liability company.
