Kremlin: Nothing but technological problems hindering gas supplies to Europe
MOSCOW. Aug 30 (Interfax) - Russia remains a dependable supplier of gas to Europe, with nothing but technological problems getting in the way of deliveries, Dmitry Peskov, the Russian president's spokesman, told reporters.
Peskov was asked whether there were guarantees gas supplies by the Nord Stream pipeline would resume following three days of maintenance.
"There are guarantees that nothing but technological problems caused by sanction is hindering the supplies," he said.
"Russia has been and remains ready to honor all of its commitments," Peskov said.
