MTS pays 4 bln rubles for Bronevik, 2 bln rubles for Webinar

MOSCOW. Aug 29 (Interfax) - Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) , one of Russia's leading mobile providers, paid 4 billion rubles for online hotel booking service Bronevik and 2.1 billion rubles for Webinar, a developer and provider of videoconferencing services, MTS reported.

MTS acquired 100% of Company Bronevik LLC and Bronevik Online, and 75.5% of Webinar LLC and Webinar Technologies LLC in July.

Bronevik, founded in 2008, provides booking services for hotels in Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Uzbekistan and other countries.

Webinar, also founded in 2008, owns online meeting service Webinar Meetings, the Webinar platform for holding webinars and online events, and the We.Study platform for organizing blended learning for employees, customers, partners and students. Webinar also includes COMDI, an online broadcasting service for holding large virtual and hybrid events. Webinar services are included in the registry of Russian software and have their own service infrastructure in Russia.
