Russia will not extend ban on exporting sunflower products after Aug 31 - Agriculture Ministry

MOSCOW. Aug 18 (Interfax) - The Russian government will not extend the ban on exporting sunflower products after it expires on August 31, 2022, as extending the export duty until August 31, 2023, is sufficient, the Agriculture Ministry's press service told Interfax.

"The Agriculture Ministry is not considering extending the ban on exporting sunflower products after August 31. The ministry currently considers the 50% export duty on these products, which has been extended until August 31, 2023, to be sufficient," the press service said.
