Polyus announces start of automatic conversion of depositary receipts, to affect no more than 0.5% of program

MOSCOW. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Polyus has notified the holders of its depositary receipts about the start of the automatic conversion procedure, the Russian goldminer said in a statement.

The automatic conversion applies only to the holders of depositary receipts with rights recorded in Russian depositories, Russia's largest gold producer noted. Polyus estimates that the share of these securities does not exceed 0.5% of the total volume of the company's depositary program.
