Uniper evaluating options to sell Unipro, exit strategy from Russia unchanged

MOSCOW. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Uniper is currently evaluating the available options for selling PJSC Unipro , Tiina Tuomela, CFO of the German energy concern, said during a conference call with analysts and investors.

Uniper has not altered the exit strategy from its Russian assets. The Russian president's recently issued decree banning investors from so-called unfriendly countries from selling stakes in energy companies has not fundamentally changed anything for Uniper. The deals still require permission from the Russian authorities, Tuomela said.

"The asset is showing good results, and it will find a good owner sooner or later," the CFO said.
