Restrictions on flights to southern Russian airports extended until Aug 23

MOSCOW. Aug 16 (Interfax) - The Federal Air Transport Agency has again extended the ban on flights to airports in central and southern Russia, this time until August 23, the agency's press service said on Tuesday.

The airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol, and Elista remain closed.

The flights were restricted on February 24, the day the Russian special military operation in Ukraine began.
