Roscosmos and NASA not currently discussing Russian cosmonauts' flights aboard Starliner

KUBINKA, Moscow region. Aug 16 (Interfax) - The Russian State Space Corporation Roscosmos does not rule out that Russian cosmonauts may travel into space on board the Starliner U.S. spacecraft, but no such talks are being held now, Roscosmos Executive Director for Manned Space Programs Sergei Krikalev told Interfax.

"Probably, it will become possible at some point, but no such talks are currently underway," Krikalev told Interfax on the sidelines of the Army 2022 forum.

NASA's International Space Station Program Manager Joel Montalbano said on August 4 that the U.S. side expects the Starliner spacecraft to be used in Russian-U.S. flights to the ISS.
