Merged company of Rosseti and FGC to be called Federal Grid Company-Rosseti

MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - Following the merger of Rosseti with FGC UES , now controlled by the Russian power grid holding, the company will be renamed PJSC Federal Grid Company-Rosseti, according to the materials from the extraordinary meeting of FGC shareholders.

The amendments are contained in the draft of the company's updated charter. Meantime, PJSC Rosseti will remain the abbreviated name.

The fact that FGC would merge with PJSC Rosseti, the parent company, as well as with JSC DVEUK-UNEG, JSC Tomsk Mainline Grids and JSC Kuban Mainline Grids" , became known in the middle of July. Andrei Ryumin, Rosseti general director, will remain at the head of the reorganized holding.
