Supplies of Russian oil via Druzhba pipeline to Czech Republic resume - operator

MOSCOW. Aug 12 (Interfax) - Supplies of Russian oil to the Czech republic via the Druzhba pipeline have resumed, Czech pipeline operator Mero said.

"Supplies of Russian oil to the southern thread of the Druzhba pipeline resumed on the Czech territory at 8 p.m. Native oil refineries are supplied steadily," Mero said in a statement.

Earlier, the CTK news agency reported citing chairman of the Mero board of directors Jaroslav Pantucek that oil supplies are expected to be resumed on August 12-13. The Czech side was taking measures similar to the ones of MOL and Slovneft to pay the transit fee, the report said.
