Ukrainian IT company CHI Software opens office in Japan

MOSCOW. Aug 11 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian IT company CHI Software has opened an office in Kobe, Japan.

"The IT Ukraine Association and the Kobe city administration have arranged a number of meetings and webinars with support from Ukrainian diplomats over the past year, at which the Japanese side was familiarized with technological solutions and high-quality IT services from Ukraine. The cooperation has resulted in opening an office of the Ukrainian IT company CHI Software in Kobe," Ukrainian media have reported with reference to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry website on Thursday.

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said the Foreign Ministry had started systemically creating new opportunities for cooperation between Ukrainian IT companies and their foreign partners back in spring 2021.

"This work has borne fruit. Ukrainian diplomats are applying as much efforts as they can to help businesses and working to achieve results together with exporters," Kuleba said.

The IT Export Boost project started on March 5, 2021. Its main goal is to facilitate IT exports owing to capabilities of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's diplomatic missions abroad.

The IT Ukraine Association is the largest specialized association of Ukrainian IT services and products companies in Ukraine. As of December 2021, the Association represented the interests of 120 companies and over 82,000 IT specialists. The Association's mission is to provide favorable conditions for sustainable development of the IT industry in the country.
