McDonald's to gradually reopen part of its restaurants in Kyiv, western Ukraine
MOSCOW. Aug 11 (Interfax) - The McDonald's fast-food chain is introducing a plan of gradually reopening part of its restaurants in Kyiv and western Ukraine over the next several months, Ukrainian media have reported with reference to the company's press service.
"After extensive consultation and discussion with Ukrainian officials, suppliers, and security specialists, and in consideration of our employees' request to return to work, we have decided to institute a phased plan to reopen some restaurants in Kyiv and western Ukraine," the reports quoted Paul Pomroy, corporate senior vice president of international operated markets, as saying in a message to employees.
