Hungary's MOL prepared to pay for transit of Russian oil through Ukraine

MOSCOW. Aug 9 (Interfax) - Hungary's MOL is holding talks on paying for transit of Russian oil through Ukraine, the company's press service told Interfax.

"Transport of oil through the Druzhba pipeline has been suspended for several days, as far as we know due to technical problems on the part of banks connected to payment of the transit fee by the Russian party. Despite the fact that MOL has oil reserves for several weeks, the company is working to resolve the situation and is holding talks on paying the commission itself," the press service said.
