Ukraine aims at continuous, regular agrarian exports - Zelensky

MOSCOW. Aug 3 (Interfax) - Ukraine aims at continuous, regular agrarian exports after the unblocking of seaports, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

"The first ship carrying Ukrainian grain arrived in the Bosporus today, having passed through a special corridor in the Black Sea that was approved for the unblocking of our ports. Now our goal is to ensure regularity, so than when a ship leaves a port, there are other ships, as well, those being loaded and those approaching the port. The continuity, regulatory is the principle needed by all consumers of our agricultural products," the Ukrainian media quoted Zelensky as saying in a video address early on Wednesday morning.

The president reaffirmed the importance of resuming Ukrainian agrarian exports. "We need exports this year so that our farmers and agricultural companies have sufficient resources for sowing next year. This is a matter of food security of our country, as well," he said.
