Yulia Badritdinova appointed McDonald's general director in Ukraine, Czechia, Slovakia

MOSCOW. Aug 3 (Interfax) - McDonald's Ukraine General Director Yulia Badritdinova has been in charge of three markets, namely, Ukraine, Czechia and Slovakia, since August 1, the Ukrainian media said with the reference to the corporate press service.

The company said Badritdinova had replaced Dan Camp, formerly general director in Czechia and Slovakia transferred to the position of McDonald's senior franchise director.

Badritdinova has been the head of McDonald's Ukraine for the past three years overseeing marketing, consumer behavior and business analysis, corporate communications and strategic planning. Her employment with McDonalds began 11 years ago.

Before taking the job with McDonald's, Badritdinova occupied marketing positions in fast food restaurants, Nestle Confectionary, and the Saatchi & Saatchi advertising agency.

The first McDonald's restaurant in Ukraine opened in Kyiv on May 24, 1997. Over 25 years of operations, the company has invested about $350 million in its business in Ukraine, has paid UAH10 billion taxes to the Ukrainian budget, and has donated UAH 124 million as charities.

McDonald's Ukraine is operating 109 restaurants in 24 cities.

McDonald's Ukraine Ltd. is developing the national network.

According to the unified register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, MCD Europe Limited (100%, London, the UK) is the company shareholder.
