State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports border crossing data

MOSCOW. Aug 1 (Interfax) - About 281,000 passengers entered Ukraine across the western border on July 23-29, while about 262,000 left over the same period, the Ukrainian media said with the reference to the reports published by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on social media.

There was no change in the number of cars crossing the border over the past week, 119,000, while the number of cleared humanitarian trucks reduced from 560 to 431 week-on-week.

According to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, a total of 9.927 million persons left Ukraine between February 24 and July 26, including 4.944 million for Poland, 1.857 million for Russia, 1.042 million for Hungary, 890,200 for Romania, 627,600 for Slovakia, 549,300 for Moldova, and 16,700 for Belarus.

Meanwhile, according to the UN, 3.996 million people arrived in Ukraine between February 28 and July 26 (without data from Hungary, Russia and Belarus).
