Journalists Aleshkovsky, Albats, writer Bykov added to Russian register of foreign agents

MOSCOW. July 29 (Interfax) - The Russian Justice Ministry has placed writer Dmitry Bykov and journalists Yevgenia Albats and Dmitry Aleshkovsky on its list of mass media foreign agents.

The updates appeared on the ministry's website on Friday.

Albats is a journalist, radio host, political analyst, writer, and the editor-in-chief of The New Times magazine.

Bykov is a writer and poet, a literary critic, TV host. He resides abroad.

Aleshkovsky is a public figure, journalist, and media manager.

All three are opposition activists.
