MTS replaces VP for GR, appoints two new senior execs

MOSCOW. July 29 (Interfax) - Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) has promoted Andrey Rego, its former head of regulatory policy and relations with federal authorities, to the position of vice president for government relations effective August 1, Russia's leading mobile provider said in a press release.

Former VP for GR and MTS management board member Ruslan Ibragimov "is leaving the company due to the expiration of his employment contract," MTS said.

Rego joined MTS in 2001 as a legal consultant. He was appointed director of the company's department for regulatory policy and relations with federal authorities in 2019.

MTS has also created two new senior management positions.

Marina Nastasenko has been appointed to the new position as a management board member and vice president for digital products effective September 5. Before the appointment, she served as general director of Salyut for Business, a part of the Sberbank ecosystem.

Evgeniya Naumova, former executive vice president for corporate business at Kaspersky Lab, was appointed to the new position of director for cybersecurity in July.

Nastasenko, who graduated from the mathematics and mechanics faculty at St. Petersburg State University, served as director of strategy at Faktor Svyazi in 2015-2017. In 2017-2019 she cofounded ASM Solutions, worked on IT projects for retail and founded the charitable foundation Nauka i Mama. In 2019-2022 she served as general director of Dialog, renamed Salyut for Business LLC in 2022, a part of the Sber ecosystem.

Naumova graduated from Ulyanovsk State Technical University and Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, earned an MBA from Kingston University and holds a PhD in economics. She worked at cybersecurity businesses in 2005-2009, served as head of corporate sales at Kaspersky Lab in Russia in 2009-2020 and director of Kaspersky Lab's regional sales network in 2020-2021. She was promoted to executive vice president for corporate business at Kaspersky Lab in 2021 and served on the board of directors of New Cloud Technologies LLC in 2020-2022.
