Ukrainian PM thanks Germany for support

MOSCOW. July 25 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said the Ukrainian authorities plan to hold an international expert conference on Ukraine's recovery in Germany this fall.

"We praise Germany's contribution in ensuring the unity of the European Union in supporting Ukraine. I would also like to thank the German party for the fact that following the G7 summit, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced the convening of an international expert conference on Ukraine's recovery and the elaboration of a relevant recovery plan under the German G7 presidency," Shmyhal is quoted by the government press service as saying following a meeting with German Interior Minister Nancy Feaser and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Hubertus Heil.

The prime minister noted that the European Commission has also expressed its willingness to join the event.
