Yandex resumes hiring in Russia, abroad

MOSCOW. July 25 (Interfax) - Yandex has lifted all the restrictions imposed in February on hiring new employees, the IT company said in a statement.

The company currently has around 2,000 vacancies, and there will be new ones in the near future, the statement said. Yandex needs the most employees for its search engine. There are 835 job openings on the teams that work on the search engine and develop Yandex's advertising technology. Following that, there are 624 openings in the business group that comprises Yandex.Taxi, Yandex.Delivery, Yandex.Eats, Yandex.Lavka, and Yandex.Market.

Outside of Moscow, there are quite a few vacancies in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and Novosibirsk, the statement said. Yandex offices outside of Russia are also hiring, and the company is looking for specialists of all levels, from entry-level specialists to senior specialists.

Yandex suspended hiring in February 2022. The company partially lifted these restrictions a month later and began hiring top developers.
