English-language version of int'l passport, driving license, vehicle registration certificate to be created in Ukraine

MOSCOW. July 19 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation is working on the English-language version of Ukraine's international passport, driving license and vehicle registration certificate, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said.

"A number of digital documents in Diia will have an English-language version. My team and I discussed specific examples of it today. We will translate the international passport, the driving license and the vehicle registration certificate. What's important is that driving licenses and vehicle registration certificates will receive international codes, which are used in the EU, the U.S. and Canada," the Ukrainian media quoted Fedorov as saying on social media on Monday evening.

As reported earlier, the Ukrainian Justice Ministry together with the National Information Systems company and the Ministry of Digital Transformation has developed a procedure enabling the automatic registration of a limited liabilities company without the participation of the state registrar.
