Over 17,500 refugees enter Russia's Rostov region from Donbas, Ukraine over past 24 hours - border guards
ROSTOV-ON-DON. July 18 (Interfax) - More than 17,500 refugees entered the Rostov region from the territories of Donbas and Ukraine through checkpoints over the past 24 hours, the press service for the regional border guard directorate of the Russian Federal Security Service said.
"More than 17,500 people crossed the border into Russia through checkpoints located in the Rostov region over the past 24 hours," the report said.
Over 19,000 people arrived in the region the day earlier.
