Azerbaijani, Armenian FMs to hold first meeting - President Aliyev

BAKU. July 15 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan will meet on Saturday, July 16, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.

"Tomorrow, there will be a meeting between Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers. This is the first meeting between the ministers, and we hope that it will bring a result [...] The matters that will be discussed are on the negotiating table," Aliyev said at a meeting dedicated to the results of the first half of 2022 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Vahan Hunanyan told Interfax that the two foreign minister will meet in Tbilisi.

"Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will meet in Tbilisi on July 16," Hunanyan said.
