Seligdar aims to produce 20 t of gold, 14,000-16,000 t of tin per year by 2030

MOSCOW. July 15 (Interfax) - Russian polymetallic ore miner Seligdar plans to be producing 20 tonnes of gold and 14,000-16,000 tonnes of tin per year by 2030, the company said in a presentation for Investor Day.

This means the company plans to almost triple gold production and increase tin production by five to six times compared to 2021 figures.

The company's key development projects include gold deposits in Yakutia - Khvoinoye, where a plant is expected to go into operation in 2024, and Kyuchus, which is expected to produce at least 10 tonnes of gold per year when it reaches design capacity in 2029, as well as the Pyrkakay Stockworks tin project in Chukotka.

Seligdar expects to reach total production of 30 tonnes of gold equivalent by 2030, with the gold division generating 75% of revenues. Seligdar's product mix includes gold and silver, as well as tin, tungsten and copper in concentrates.

The company has begun project development for its own metallurgical plant and selected a site for it in Khabarovsk Territory. Seligdar subsidiary Rusolovo set up the Amur Tin Plant for this project in the spring.
