Russia revokes licenses of Czech, Bulgarian enterprises providing maintenance to Mil helicopters - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. July 14 (Interfax) - Russia has revoked the licenses of aircraft maintenance enterprises in Czechia and Bulgaria, which, in particular, repair Mil helicopters, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"A number of NATO and EU countries are continuing to supply military hardware to the Kyiv regime and are planning to organize its repairs at industrial enterprises in Eastern Europe. In response, Russia has decided to suspend the licenses of aircraft maintenance enterprises, LOM Praha in Czechia and Terem Letets and Avionams in Bulgaria," Zakharova said at a press briefing on Thursday.

"The provision of designer engineering support to overhauls of Mil helicopters, subscription services of systems, operational repairs, the provision of documentation, and the supply of spare parts and components will therefore cease," she said.

"Such enterprises will lose the right to provide technical maintenance and repairs of Russian-made helicopters. In this context, Russia relieves itself of the responsibility for the safe operation of helicopters repaired by these enterprises," Zakharova said.
