Russia registers 3,929 new cases of Covid-19, 42 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ

MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 3,929 new cases of Covid-19, as well as 1,329 hospitalizations and 42 deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Wednesday.

"As of July 13, Russia recorded 3,929 new cases of Covid-19 and 1,329 patients were hospitalized, down 10% from the previous day," the headquarters said.

The number of hospitalizations has grown in 34 Russian constituent territories, has decreased in 48, and has remained unchanged in three, it said.

Forty-two patients died from Covid-19 over the day, as against 48 the day before.

The daily morbidity has grown by 927 cases from 3,002 infections reported on Tuesday.

"Another 3,363 patients have recovered, up 4.8% from July 12," the headquarters said.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Russia has registered a total of 18,472,239 cases of Covid-19, including 381,711 deaths and 17,897,428 recoveries.
