Quadripartite meeting of experts from Ukraine, UN, Turkey, Russia planned for July 13 in Istanbul to discuss unblocking of Ukrainian grain transportation - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax) - A quadripartite meeting of experts from Ukraine, the United Nations, Turkey and Russia is planned for July 13 in Istanbul to discuss the unblocking of Ukrainian grain transportation, and security issues will remain a key element of the Ukrainian posture, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Mykolenko said.

"Ukraine wants the unblocking of Ukrainian grain to be addressed under the UN aegis. In this context, we appreciate the energetic effort of Secretary General Antonio Guterres to find a solution that would guarantee the security of southern regions of our state. A quadripartite meeting involving experts from Ukraine, the UN, Turkey and Russia is planned for July 13 in Istanbul," Mykolenko told Ukrainian journalists on Tuesday.

The modality of operation of the marine corridors for exported grain will be discussed, and security issues will remain a key element of the Ukrainian posture, he said.
