Tatneft's long-term sustainable development goals unchanged - CEO

ALMETYEVSK/MOSCOW. July 12 (Interfax) - Tatneft's long-term sustainable development goals have not changed, Tatneft General Director Nail Maganov said at the Tatarstan Oil Summit on Tuesday.

"Speaking of the company's strategy, I can say that the company's long-term goals have not undergone any changes after February. Because they were, in our understanding, absolutely calibrated and answered all questions of the company's sustainable development for years to come. Plus, they met all the requirements of our stakeholders, our workers, shareholders, and the territory where we work, met the requirements of the state," Maganov said.

Tatneft has made its key indicator the value of the company, Maganov said. "Why is the indicator in the value of the company? Because this is a reflection, an integrated assessment of all participants in the process. Naturally, we're continuing the ESG agenda, because we understand that despite certain factors that exist now, despite some discord, we live on one planet, and the overall goals remain global and of interest to all," he said.
