Putin, Tokayev reaffirm course towards strengthening Russian-Kazakh strategic partnership, implementation of projects

MOSCOW. July 12 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a phone call with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Kremlin press service said on Tuesday.

"Topical aspects of bilateral cooperation have been discussed in furtherance of the agreement reached at the Russian-Kazakh summit talks in St. Petersburg on June 17. The course towards further strengthening of the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries and the progressive implementation of specific projects in the trade, economic and energy fields has been confirmed," the press service said.
