Kremlin strongly condemns attack on Abe

MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - The Kremlin is deeply saddened by the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and strongly condemns the attack on him, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We are deeply saddened by the news from Japan. We strongly condemn the attack on former Japanese Prime Minister, Mr. Abe. We are expecting President Putin to personally send a telegram shortly to extend his condolences," Peskov told reporters on Friday.
