Access to YouTube, Instagram restricted in Kherson region

SIMFEROPOL. July 6 (Interfax) - Access to the YouTube video hosting service and the Instagram social network (a product of the Meta company, designated as extremist and banned in Russia) has been restricted in the Kherson region, the interim regional administration's press secretary said.

"We were disconnected from YouTube several days ago. Now we have neither YouTube nor Instagram. Well, that's okay; everything is normal," the press secretary said in a video address on Telegram.

The interim administration of Skadovsk in the Kherson region also said on Telegram they had no access to Viber and many Ukrainian websites.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine on February 24. Currently, Russian forces are in full control of the Kherson region.
