EAEU states to create technological platform in aircraft industry

MINSK. July 5 (Interfax) - The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will create a technological platform in the sphere of civil aircraft manufacturing, the press service for the Belarusian Industry Ministry said.

"An agreement has been signed on the creation of a new Eurasian technological platform in the sphere of civil aircraft manufacturing. The document will promote the development of hi-tech and innovative production, increase innovation in the industrial output of the EAEU countries, and accumulate cutting-edge achievements in the technological progress of aircraft manufacturing," the press service said.

The agreement was signed based on the results of a meeting of the EAEU's Industrial Policy Council that took place in Yekaterinburg within the framework of INNOPROM 2022.
