Nord Stream AG to shut down both strings of Nord Stream gas pipeline on July 11-21 for scheduled repairs

MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - Nord Stream AG will shut down both strings of the Nord Stream gas pipeline from July 11 to 21 for scheduled repairs, the operator said in a statement.

"From July 11 to July 21, 2022, Nord Stream AG will temporarily shut down both strings of the Nord Stream gas pipeline in order to conduct scheduled maintenance work, including testing mechanical components and automation systems, in order to ensure efficient, safe and reliable operation of the gas pipeline," according to the operator's statement.

Nord Stream AG notes that the schedule and work plan were agreed in advance with the partners of Nord Stream AG for gas transportation upstream and downstream.

The press service of PJSC Gazprom has confirmed to Interfax the planned stoppage of operations of the gas pipeline.
