Russia's Agriculture Ministry expects decrease of 0.7% in agro output in 2022 vs 2020

MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - Russia's Agriculture Ministry expects agricultural production to decrease 0.7% in 2022 compared to the baseline of the government's 2020 program for developing agriculture.

Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev during a government meeting said that the baseline is now 2020, and not 2017, as it was before.

"In accordance with this, the government program provides for achieving the index of agricultural production at the 99.3% level," Patrushev said.
