NUR-SULTAN. June 28 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan is continuing to accommodate foreign IT companies relocating to the country, Kazakh Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry Minister Bagdat Musin said.

"A lot of work is being done in connection with the relocation of foreign IT companies to our country," Musin said at a Tuesday meeting of the government.

According to materials distributed at the meeting, a number of companies have already completed their relocation to Kazakhstan, including game developers Playrix, Nexters, and Mytona, online bank Tinkoff Bank, transportation service InDriver, and online travel booking company Level Travel.

The Astana International Financial Center has also launched a single window service for foreign IT specialists, and over 1,000 of them have already received assistance, Musin said.

Meanwhile, IT exports have doubled in the last two years, he said. The IT market was valued at $3.6 billion in 2021.

Contracts totaling $800,000 have been concluded to speed up IT exports. Slides demonstrating the operation of some domestic IT companies in eight foreign countries were shown at the meeting.
