State Duma ratifies technical amendments to agreement with Belarus on exporting petroleum products

MOSCOW. June 28 (Interfax) - The Russian State Duma has ratified the amendments to the agreement with Belarus on exporting oil and petroleum products, under which a number of goods in foreign trade operations are registered without using temporary periodic declarations.

Bill No. 129909-8 was submitted to the State Duma at the end of May, and the amendments to the protocol were signed on December 16, 2021 in Moscow.

According to the amendments, crude oil and petroleum products, bitumen, petroleum gases, gaseous hydrocarbons, petroleum jelly, peat tar, and acyclic and cyclic hydrocarbons can be registered without using temporary periodic declarations. The exception is on importing goods via pipeline and goods imported into the country as supplies.

Belarusian government deputies ratified the amendments to the agreement with Russia on June 16.
