Ukrainian police seize Rosatom building in central Kyiv

MOSCOW. June 24 (Interfax) - Ukraine's National Police have seized a building in the center of Kyiv with an area of almost 1,000 square meters, valued at UAH 60 million or $2 million at the current rate, and owned by Rosatom.

The National Police said officers searched the building and, based on a decision by the investigating magistrate of the Pechersky District Court, they seized the property.

There are plans to hand the building to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA).

The investigation is ongoing.

More than UAH 3 million of funds of Rosatom Eastern Europe LLC were transferred to ARMA in May.
