No concrete agreements yet to hold four-party talks on Ukrainian grain export - Ukrainian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. June 23 (Interfax) - No concrete agreements have been achieved thus far to hold negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, and the United Nations on ways to transport grain from the blocked Ukrainian seaports, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Oleh Nikolenko said.

"Ukraine welcomes the efforts of the UN secretary general to find a solution to the issue of grain export from the blocked Ukrainian seaports. Expert consultations with the sides concerned are now continuing. But no concrete agreements on holding four-party talks involving Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, and the UN have been achieved thus far," Nikolenko told Ukrainian reporters on Wednesday.

Security remains the fundamental element of Ukraine's stance, he said.

The Turkish Defense Ministry's delegation said earlier after a visit to Russia that an understanding had been reached on holding four-party negotiations involving Ukraine and the UN.
