Andrey Bougrov chairs Nornickel board of directors

MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - Andrey Bougrov has been appointed chairman of the board of directors at Norilsk Nickel , the Arctic mining and smelting giant said in a press release.

Bougrov was elected to the board as a non-executive director at the AGM on June 3. Prior to that he served as Nornickel Senior Vice President for Sustainable Development.

Bugrov had served on the company's management board since 2013. He became Senior Vice President for Sustainable Development following the accident at Heat and Power Plant No. 3 in Norilsk in May 2020.
