Gazprom Neft receives exploration licenses for 8 hydrocarbon blocks in Taimyr group of fields in north of Krasnoyarsk Territory on declarative basis

MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - After receiving exploration licenses for a group of Nizhnepurinsk hydrocarbon blocks, Gazprom Neft has now received licenses for eight blocks of the Taimyr group in the north of Krasnoyarsk Territory on a declarative basis.

According to the state register of subsoil plots and licenses, the company Gazpromneft-Angara received the right to carry out geological study at Taimyrsky plots 1, 2 and 7, Gazpromneft-Orenburg - at Taimyrsky plots 5 and 6, Enercom (controlled by Gazpromneft-GEO) - at Taimyrsky plots 3, 4 and 8. The licenses are valid through June 15, 2029.

The Taimyr subsoil areas do not contain D0 hydrocarbon reserves and resources listed in the State Mineral Reserves Balance as of January 1, 2021, nor do they contain the Dl resources listed in the appendices to the State Reserves Committee's "Map of Subsurface and Subsoil Use in the Krasnoyarsk Territory."

It was previously reported that Gazprom Neft secured licenses for the Nizhnepurinskiy 1-3 hydrocarbon blocks on a declarative basis, while its subsidiary Gazpromneft-GEO LLC received licesnes for the Nizhnepurinskiy 4-6 hydrocarbon blocks. They are located in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and also do not contain approved reserves and resources.

As previously reported, Gazprom Neft received its first assets in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2019 - also on a declarative basis. The company later applied for the Nizhnepurinskiy and Taimyrsky groups of fields. In addition, the oil company filed an application for the geological study of the Ust-Yenisei area in the Yenisei Bay of the Kara Sea.
