Russian businesses making record investments in ecological projects - Deputy PM Abramchenko

ST. PETERSBURG. June 17 (Interfax) - The investments of Russian companies in ecological projects topped 1 trillion rubles in 2021 for the first time in history, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Viktoria Abramchenko said at the Does Ecology Serve Business or Does Business Serve Ecology session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"For the first time in history, Russian businesses have invested over 1 trillion rubles in ecological projects, which is 151 billion rubles more than the year before. The trend set over the past two years should be continued despite what's going on in the world," Abramchenko said.
