Energoatom denies possibility of transferring control over Zaporizhzhya NPP to Rosatom

MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - The Energoatom national nuclear energy company of Ukraine has categorically denied reports about the possible transfer of control over the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) to Russia and its state atomic energy agency Rosatom.

"The Zaporizhzhya NPP is operating today and will continue to operate within the Ukrainian power grid and in compliance with Ukrainian legislation," the Ukrainian media quoted Energoatom as saying on Telegram on Thursday.
