Iran assesses Baltic Shipyard, voices interest in joint projects - USC

MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - A delegation from Iran visited Baltic Shipyard and experts from the country assessed the shipyard's capabilities, Russia's United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) said in a statement.

"We presented a number of projects to the guests in the area of civilian shipbuilding and oil and gas structures that could become the foundation for mutually beneficial cooperation between our two countries. In addition, the Iranian side showed interest in innovative technologies in the area of shipbuilding developed by USC Group design bureaus," the Russian company said.

The "visit of the high-level Iranian delegation was the result of United Shipbuilding Corporation's active work begun in 2021 and aimed at establishing cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the area of shipbuilding," USC said.
