Kostin: VTB has funds for acquisition of Otkritie

ST. PETERSBURG. June 16 (Interfax) - VTB has enough money to buy FC Otkritie Bank , VTB CEO Andrei Kostin told reporters.

"Today, Elvira Nabiullina said that the bank will be sold for more than just money, but for real live money and other assets, so there will now be a valuation process," Kostin said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2022).

"There are [funds], VTB has everything. We will wait for the valuation," he added.

"We both acquire capital and spend capital, we have calculations, do not worry, we will make the deal," the VTB chief said.
