FlixBus to open new bus line between Kyiv, Wrocław on June 23

MOSCOW. June 16 (Interfax) - The European bus service operator FlixBus will open a new bus line between Kyiv and Wroclaw on June 23.

Buses will be departing four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from Kyiv and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from Wroclaw, Ukrainian media outlets said with the reference to a company statement published on Thursday.

Bus route 3230 goes like this: Kyiv - Zhytomyr - Novohrad-Volynskyi - Rivne - Lviv - Krakow - Katowice - Wroclaw.

The schedule allows buses to cross the Ukrainian territory during daytime only. This is how the company takes care of traffic safety and passengers do not breach the curfew in their cities, the statement said.

Back on June 7, FlixBus reopened bus route 3221 between Kyiv and Warsaw in addition to route 3222 to Warsaw available earlier. The new route could be used twice a week: buses travel through Zhytomyr, Novohrad-Volynskyi, Rivne, Lutsk and Lublin and arrive at the Dachna station in Kyiv near the Zhytomyrska station.

In all, there are ten bus routes connecting Ukraine to FlixBus routes in Poland, Czechia and Hungary, the company said.

Founded in 2013, FlixBus is developing bus service in Europe and the United States. The business is based on partnerships with regional bus companies that provide their buses and route documentation.

FlixBus opened its offices in Ukraine in June 2019, and bus service became available on domestic routes in July 2020.
