ST. PETERSBURG. June 16 (Interfax) - The Russian Economic Development Ministry will improve the 2022 GDP outlook, Maxim Reshetnikov, the economic development minister, said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
"We have had a wave of improvements for estimates and forecasts in the past month. The Central Bank recently improved its forecast. We are also preparing to improve our own forecast [currently for GDP to shrink 7.8%]. We are seeing that those measures that are being taken intensively are yielding results," he said.
