EU Advisory Mission donates IT support package to Ukrainian police
MOSCOW. June 15 (Interfax) - The European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) has donated modern equipment for maintaining the IT infrastructure of the Ukrainian National Police worth 356,000 euros, including laptops, multifunctional office systems, smartphones, and software.
The equipment should help create new mobile jobs for pretrial inquiry, criminal investigation, and information and analytical support departments, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the EUAM Ukraine on Wednesday.
The Ukrainian National Police earlier received food rations worth over 500,000 euros and individual protection gear worth 3 million euros as assistance from the EU.
